Private tutorials

Would you like assistance moving forward in your understanding of geometric pattern construction? I offer personalised, one-to-one tutorials in sacred geometry. These can be conducted in person or via Skype, FaceTime, or Google Hangouts. In these intensive 90 minute sessions, I provide you with a customised lesson on a topic we determine together one week prior to the tutorial.

Previous clients have chosen a variety of topics including:

• Alhambra patterns
• shapes (girih tiles) used in 10-fold Islamic patterns
• constructing proportional rectangles (√2, √3, golden rectangle, etc) 
• layout of cosmatesque ornaments
• ad quadratum and ad triangulum techniques
• colour choices and paint application

After booking the session, you will be emailed a questionnaire to determine the topic and scope of your tutorial. Once this is agreed, you will receive a list of specific drawing materials which must be assembled in advance. Depending on your previous experience, you may be asked to prepare simple underdrawings or print out pdf templates so that our tutorial time is used most effectively.
